雪山下翠池為雪山主峰行程的進階登山路線，一般規劃三天行程，第一天住三六九山莊、第二天住翠池山屋或營地。被玉山圓柏圍繞的雪山翠池，是全台最高的高山湖泊，迷人的景致美不勝收。因要翻過#7圈谷下翠池(3,560m），回程上圈谷再下山，路程較長且有難走滑好滑滿的碎石坡，故難度較高。

Xueshan to Cui Pond – Alpine Descent into Tranquility
From the towering Main Peak of Xueshan (3,886m), descend into one of Taiwan’s most enchanting alpine basins — Cui Pond (翠池), or “Emerald Lake." This route is part of the legendary Xueshan Circle Trail, often taken as a continuation after summiting the Main Peak.
What makes Cuichi special is not just its remote, mirror-like lake, but also the peaceful descent that contrasts beautifully with the steep climb to the summit. Surrounded by windswept grasslands, dwarf pines, and stunning views of the Central Mountain Range, Cuichi offers a chance to reconnect with the stillness of high-mountain wilderness.
