錐麓古道，是花蓮太魯閣國家公園境內唯一的史蹟保存區，也是太魯閣峽谷眾多古徑步道中，揚名國際、屹立不搖的百年經典款，因位於三角錐山的山麓間而得名「錐麓」。鬼斧神工的斷崖峭壁、磅礴壯闊的天險之美，刻鑿著蒼涼悲壯的歷史記憶、烙印著太魯閣族英雄戰士們的血淚與汗水，走在錐麓斷崖，與繚繞的雲霧並行、與傷痛的過往擦肩，走一遭台灣最美天空步道，不枉此生，不虛此行。

Jhuilu Old Trail: Taiwan’s Most Daring Cliffside Hike
Imagine walking along a narrow trail carved into a sheer marble cliff, with the Liwu River roaring 500 meters below and the wind brushing against your face. That’s the thrill of the Jhuilu Old Trail (錐麓古道) — Taroko Gorge’s most iconic high-altitude hike and one of Taiwan’s most unforgettable trekking experiences.
Originally built during the Japanese colonial era as part of the Hehuan Mountain Guard Road, this trail was once a key patrol and trade route between Hualien and central Taiwan. Today, a preserved 3.1 km section of it remains open to hikers — and it’s both beautiful and humbling.
