稍來山山區被以闊葉林與針葉林為主，最高點海拔2319.3公尺，為台灣小百岳與台灣百名山之一，北側與西側分別為大安溪支流烏石坑溪與大甲溪支流東卯溪的發源地，可俯瞰西側的鳶嘴山、橫嶺山連稜。

Mt. Shaolai – A Gentle Summit with Big Views
Shaolai Mountain (2,305m) is a lesser-known gem located near the popular Wuling Farm area in central Taiwan. Though it’s one of the “Xueshan Seven Heroes”, this trail offers a relatively gentle hike through pine forests, mossy woodlands, and ridge-top panoramas — perfect for intermediate hikers or those easing into Taiwan’s high mountain adventures.
