帶你走進失落秘境，圍繞著神祕氣息的眠月線。因為921大地震再加上八八風災重創，造成眠月線多處坍方，一度消失在世人眼前。然而近年深受各個登山好手的喜愛，夢幻美景(鐵道、森林、隧道、車站等景觀組合)加上平緩路程，再度成為熱絡的景點。
路線單程總長9.2公里，總爬升高度只有約100公尺的落差，對新手來說也很輕鬆友善。一天來回或是來個兩天一夜的放鬆之旅也很適合，紮營賞星空，迎接早晨曙光。沿途的風景詩情畫意，被封為「最美麗的台灣森林鐵路步道」，絕對可以拍出超多美照。
