Pingyan Mountain – Scenic Ridges & Quiet Trails
Pingyan Mountain (1,623m), nestled in Hsinchu’s Jianshi Township, is a hidden gem offering one of the best panoramic ridge hikes in northern Taiwan. When combined with Duojia Tun Mountain, the route is fondly known as the “Ping-Duo Traverse", also nicknamed the “Observation Deck of the Baiyue” for its incredible high mountain views.
